A one-stop source about accessory dwelling units, multigenerational homes, laneway houses, ADUs, granny flats, in-law units…
I am pleased to announce two upcoming, national, back-to-back events on November 7th and 8th in Portland, Oregon.
This is the fourth Build Small Live Large Summit, a national conference about how to inform, inspire and connect professionals driving the market for small-scale, creative, and sustainable housing solutions across North America. The 2019 conference will specifically focus on how state and local policies and regulations can better align to achieve positive outcomes for smaller-format and space-efficient “Missing Middle” housing types, and showcase how high-opportunity single-family residential neighborhoods and districts can support the reemergence of other innovative, small-scale housing types along with supportive funding and regulatory tools.
The keynote speaker for this year’s event is Richard Rothstein, the author of The Color of Law. Individual summit sessions are shaping up to be both fascinating and timely.
ADU Academy is a one-day event that offers cutting-edge ADU education, accreditations and certifications offered by and for practitioners. The inaugural Academy in June had 85 attendees from 33 different cities.
Really appreciated the exposure and education through presentations backed with so much expertise and experience. Practical examples and knowledgeable leaders in the ADU movement. Thank you.
