What kind of financing is available for building an ADU? New construction or home equity? Also, my house in NE Portland is less than 700 sq ft so my ADU would need to be about 400 to blend in, is there a minimum size required?
There’s no minimum size requirement in Portland.
For financing options, I’d recommend looking at the links in this post. https://accessorydwellings.org/2013/11/15/financing-your-adu-has-become-easier/
